DAVE LISIK ORCHESTRA The Dave Lisik Jazz Orchestra's first recording, "Coming Through Slaughter" is scheduled to be released in Spring 2009. The recording will feature band members from Memphis and Bloomington, Indiana including Joey Tartell, Tom Link, Mike Krepper, Jack Cooper, Anthony Williams, as well as several guest soloists. Coming Through Slaughter is inspired by Canadian author Michael Ondaatje's novel, a fictitious portrayal of the life of early jazz cornet player, Buddy Bolden.
